Corporate Booking Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOMERS

CONFIRMATION

  • Written confirmation of a tentative booking and a 50% deposit must be received by AMF Bowling from the client within seven (7) working days of making the tentative booking.
  • Written confirmation constitutes the signing of the Booking Confirmation and the Terms and Conditions.
  • If written confirmation and the deposit are not received by AMF Bowling within the seven day time period, management reserves the right to cancel the booking and allocate the venue to another client.
  • Once written confirmation and the deposit are received by AMF Bowling, the booking is deemed confirmed and the client agrees to be bound by the Booking Confirmation and the Terms and Conditions.

DEPOSIT

  • A 50% deposit based on the estimated total cost of the function must be received by AMF Bowling within seven (7) working days of making the tentative booking.
  • Payment can be made via direct transfer to our bank account listed below or in-centre.
  • Please quote the name of your company or group in the reference field.

  •  The deposit will be credited against the final cost of the function.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, except as specified in the "Cancellation" section below.

MINIMUM ATTENDANCE

  • The minimum number of guests attending the function must be confirmed within five (5) working days prior to the date of the function by signing the Final Booking Confirmation.
  • Any specific details or special requests must be finalised at this time as well.
  • Final charges will be based on these minimum numbers, subject to any additional charges as set out in the "Final Payment" section below.

FINAL PAYMENT

  • The full remaining non-refundable balance must be paid within five (5) working days prior to the date of the function.  For functions of $500 or less the remaining balance can be paid on the day of the function.
  • Additional charges such as, but not limited to, extra guests above the minimum number or incidentals incurred on the day of the function must be settled at the end of the function. Please ensure cash or credit card with sufficient limit is available to make the payment. Any unpaid amounts will incur a fixed administration fee of $5 per day.
  • We do not offer account facilities.
  • Payment can be made via direct transfer to our bank account listed below or in-centre.

 CANCELLATION

  • The following terms apply with respect to cancelling or postponing the function.
  • Over 28 working days written notice the deposit will be refunded in full.
  • 6 to 28 working days written notice, the cancellation fee to be charged will be 50% of the final (estimated) value of the function.
  • Within five (5) working days written notice, the cancellation fee to be charged will be 100% of the final (estimated) value of the function.

PRICES

  • Prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
  • Prices are subject to change.

 DISPLAYS AND SIGNAGE

  • The display of banners, signs, labels, decorations or the like must be first approved by centre management and as such must not be nailed, screwed, glued, stapled or similarly adhered to any part of the bowling centre property.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

  • No food and beverage of any kind is permitted to be brought into the bowling centre.

INSURANCE

  • We accept no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to property brought into the bowling centre and we suggest the client seek their own insurance to cover such an event.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

  • Loss or damage caused by the company or group, including its guests and contractors, to any part of the bowling centre or its equipment will be the responsibility of the company or group.

 SECURITY

  • Centre management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable persons from the bowling centre.
  • Centre management reserves the right to stop any entertainment, game or other activity which in the opinion of management is a nuisance, illegal, improper, indecent or unsafe.

 PARENTAL SUPERVISION

  • Centre management will take all reasonable care but will not accept responsibility for the supervision and well being of a minor.

SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • By signing the booking form the client acknowledges that certain inherent risks exist in relation to the use of AMF's facilities. These risks include, but are not limited to, loss or damage to personal property, injury due to slipping, falling, collision, use of bowling equipment, use of laser tag equipment, use of amusement machines and equipment breakdown or failure. The Client acknowledges that it has read and fully understands the terms and conditions set out above and participates freely and accepts the risks involved. The client indemnifies AMF and their staff from all claims and liabilities (whatsoever in nature) associated with the Client's use of AMF's facilities and the Client hereby releases AMF and their staff from any claims or actions (whatsoever in nature) that may be instituted in relation to the Client's use of AMF's facilities.
